Kate Ruebenson

Kate is a second-year MFA student in Poetry at Brooklyn College. A New York City native, she has also lived in Vermont, England, California, Brazil and Oregon. This summer she split her time between travel, moving into a new apartment in Crown Heights, a workshop with Billy Collins, and of course her residency at ALN. She has published online and in print with C4 Magazine, Words 75, Hanging Loose Press, Vantage Point, The Blue Hour and Yellow Chair Review. In addition to poetry, she is interested in the merging of various art forms, including film, photography and ceramics. Her film "Ephemreel" appeared at the 2015 Noted Festival in Australia. She is an Adjunct Professor of English Composition at Brooklyn College.
