Neba is a multidisciplinary researcher and designer. She is of paternal Tatar and Turkish, and maternal Albanian and Circassian descent.
Julia Rose Sutherland is a recent graduate from the Alberta College of Art and Design. She is an interdisciplinary artist who works in a large range of mediums such as large-scale sculpture, video, painting and textiles. Julia’s practice deals with ideas of place, identity, perception and family dynamics. Her most recent work deals with issues about drug addiction and mental health.
Emma Harling, born 1989 in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a textile designer and artist currently based in New York City.
She has an experimental approach to image making, combining a variety of mediums such as painting, printmaking, drawing, and is especially interested in fiber techniques historically regarded upon as women’s craft.
As a commercial textile designer, Emma has created prints for a wide variety of fashion labels, including but not limited to Alexander Wang, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, H&M, Gwen Stefani, Monki, Anthropologie, FILA, and Prabal Gurung.
She co-founded gallery Nya Skolan in Gothenburg, and received the SWEA Mona Johnsson scholarship in 2014. She has exhibited in Sweden and in the United States.
