The One-Pointed Mind
A 6-Week Program for Educators
October 15 - November 19, 2025
Description (The One-Pointed Mind)
In today’s classroom, attention is our most precious resource. The constant demands of teaching, learning, and daily life scatter the mind, limiting both teaching effectiveness and student learning. The One-Pointed Mind offers educators a structured, six-week journey to cultivate focus, presence, and emotional balance—blending research, practice, and reflection.
Grounded in diverse meditative traditions and supported by contemporary neuroscience and psychology, this program explores the profound connections between sustained attention, emotional regulation, and higher-order thinking. Educators will gain practical tools to enhance personal well-being while fostering one-pointed learning environments that encourage student growth, creativity, and resilience.
WHEN: Six consecutive Wednesdays, starting October 15, 2025 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
WHERE: In-person at ALN or hybrid online participation | Arts Letter and Numbers Studios, Averill Park, 1548 Burden Lake Road
EXTRAS: Ongoing personal coaching and support throughout the program to help you develop and refine your craft
